NOA Advocacy

Supporting legislative efforts to benefit Nevada's safe and effective eye and vision care practice.

The NOA and AOA work together to provide a unified voice for optometry. We focus our efforts on educating elected officials, agency staff, third-party payors, and other policymakers about key issues affecting optometrists and the patients they serve. We aim to ensure that optometrists across Nevada and the country can embrace technological innovations, evidence-based practice, and time-proven treatments to provide the best care possible for their patients.

Get involved in the legislative process, participate in grassroots initiatives by becoming a Key OD, and/or support the Nevada Optometric Political Action Committee (NV Optometric PAC) and the American Optometric Political Action Committee (AOA-PAC).
