Report Your Concerns Regarding Managed Care Plan Abuses
The NOA continues working with the Division of Insurance to enforce our current law regarding Vision Benefits Managers (VBMs). However, we are aware that abuses by vision and health plans continue. That is why we have launched the Managed Care Concern Form as part of an overall managed care resource toolkit we are creating for NOA Members.
If you have any issues with a managed care plan (VBM or medical insurance), please help the NOA collect abuses by these plans by reporting your concerns. We may also share these concerns with the AOA's Third Party Center as we advocate for optometrists and their patients on a state and federal level. Regardless of whether you are a NOA member, any optometrist or optometry practice in Nevada can submit a report.
